Privacy & cookies
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This page explains what personal data we process when you visit the site or contact us, why we do it and what your rights are, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
In short: this site uses no profiling cookies, no analytics or advertising tools, and no embedded third-party content. We only process the data you send us when you get in touch, to reply to you and, if you wish, to make and ship your order.
1. Data controllers
The data controllers are Simone Albano and Davide Peccioli, operating under the name Fusion3DPrinting (Turin, Italy).
For any request about your data, write to fusion3dprinting@outlook.it.
2. What data we process
- Browsing data. As with any website, the server hosting these pages automatically records some technical data (IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type). We do not use it to identify or profile you.
- Data you give us. If you write to us by e-mail or WhatsApp, we process the data in your message: name, e-mail address or phone number, your project description and any attached files, photos or measurements. For orders, also your shipping address and the details needed for invoicing.
Please do not send us data we don't need, in particular special categories of data (for example health data).
3. Why we process it and on what basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your requests and preparing a quote | Pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Making, delivering and shipping your order | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
| Security and proper operation of the site (browsing data) | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Remembering your chosen language | Technical storage strictly necessary for a service you requested (Art. 122 Legislative Decree 196/2003) |
We do not use your data for marketing and we make no decisions based solely on automated processing.
4. How long we keep it
- Requests and quotes that don't lead to an order: at most 24 months from our last contact.
- Order data and tax documents: for the period required by law (10 years, Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider, usually a few days or weeks, unless needed to investigate misuse.
5. Who it may be shared with
Your data is processed by us and is never sold or published. Where necessary, it may be accessed by the providers we rely on, acting as processors or independent controllers:
- our e-mail provider (Microsoft, Outlook service);
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp;
- the website hosting provider;
- couriers and shipping services, to deliver orders;
- our accountant or tax advisor, for legal obligations.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area (for example to the United States). In that case the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not use cookies for profiling, analytics or third-party purposes. All fonts, images and scripts are served from the site itself, with no connections to external services while you browse.
We use a single technical item, saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage):
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
f3dp-lang | Remembers your chosen language (Italian or English), so we don't ask you on every visit | Until you delete it from your browser |
As this is strictly necessary to provide a feature you asked for, no consent is required (Italian Data Protection Authority cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021). You can delete it at any time from your browser settings, under site data.
The photos in the "Our work" section come from our Instagram profile, but they are copied to and served from this site: viewing them does not connect you to Instagram.
The WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook buttons are plain links: no data is sent to those platforms unless you click them. Once you are on their sites, their own privacy policies apply.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to:
- access your data and receive a copy;
- correct or update it;
- erase it, unless we are required by law to keep it;
- restrict its processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive it in a structured format (portability).
To exercise your rights, write to fusion3dprinting@outlook.it: we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority in your own EU country.
8. Is providing data mandatory?
Providing your data is optional. Without your contact details, however, we cannot reply, prepare a quote or fulfil an order.
9. Changes
We may update this notice, for example if we add new services to the site. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
The Italian version of this notice prevails in case of discrepancies.
